Mrs. USA Universal 2015 Lori Tantawi

Bio:

 

Lori Tantawi graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree. During her 7 years in the US Army, she served as a Counter Intelligence/Human Intelligence Operations Manager. In 2010, Lori medically retired at the rank of captain. Her highest military award is the Bronze Star, which she received for her service in Afghanistan. She is a registered alumni member with the Wounded Warrior Project.

 

 

As an international couture jewelry designer, her designs were featured on WGNO News with a Twist, and unveiled during an exclusive art show produced by Dave Rhodes’ Expose and the CBS Network. In 2012, Lori obtained her Masters Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and currently resides in New Orleans with her husband, Purple Heart Recipient, Captain Ibrahim Tantawi.

 

She currently works as an actress, promotional model, associate producer, jewelry designer and volunteer. As a Wounded Warrior battling depression, anxiety and PTSD, it’s her goal to remove the negative stigma surrounding mental illness and advovate for suicide prevention. During her reign as Mrs. USA Universal 2015, she is focused on giving back by lending her talents, skills and personal experiences to local and nationwide charities, events and programs.

 

She has also competed as an international swimsuit model in the Miss Swimsuit USA International Swimsuit competition and is featured in numerous publications to include “A Day in The Life of the United States Armed Forces”. She is a supporting actress in the independent feature film “Coldwell Spring”, and she was a guest star on renovation reality show “Fix It and Finish It” starring Antonio Sebato Jr.
