“Everybody Loves Barbie!!!”
This movement was founded by Havilah Malone and is a self-empowerment movement that aims to break the silence of molestation and abuse and help everyone develop the courage and confidence to take their power back.
“Through philanthropic efforts, community service, public speaking, mentoring and partner programs, Everybody Loves Barbie is fostering collaborative support amongst corporations, non-profits and the community in order to create a positive shift in mindset and help people live beyond the box. Living Beyond the Box is about embracing our unique path in life and gifts by creating success through self-mastery, self-love, self-confidence, and contribution.”
This Pink Carpet Hollywood style Gala featured live entertainment, celebrity appearances which included my sister queen, Mrs. Louisiana United States 2015, Dr Serena Netter, a charity auction, the “I Can Be…” Awards and a Barbie-Inspired Fashion Show featuring the dynamic designs of local designer Keno of Keno Kouture. Myself, along with other local celebrities walked the runway in custom made designs from featured Barbie Dolls.
The Pink Carpet Gala was only the start of a fabulous weekend of giving as volunteers worked the following morning at a community service project hosted by the city of Kenner and then finished the weekend with a Private Sunday Afternoon Tea and Meet and Greet at the Chateau Country Club.
The 2015 beneficiaries of Everybody Loves Barbie are: Ms. Hillary’s Kids Foundation, North Rampart Community Center, The Napoleon Hill Foundation, and the Back 2 Basics Sports Foundation.
